Balancing Act
Managing work-life balance is one of today’s major challenges, being out of balance can affect all areas of life including business performance.
This workshop takes participants through a process to re-evaluate their lives and develop strategies that enable them to focus on what matters most in and out of work.
People out of balance tend to suffer from stress and this can be displayed in many ways through ill health, frustration, guilt, lack of focus, poor sleep and eating habits to name just a few.
The sessions are interactive and include exercises and delegate involvement.
Half day taster:
- What is Life Balance -
- - considers all areas of our lives and how they interact
- Why is Life balance important -
- identifies how the different areas of our lives can have both positive and negative effects on other aspects
- Balancing our lives –
- looks at the consequences and benefits of life balance
One day workshop:
As per taster PLUS –
- Life balance questionnaire for delegates -
- this investigates individual Life balance and looks in more depth at the areas of mental, physical, emotional and spiritual balance and consequences and options
- Introduction to stress -
- considers what stress is, how it affects us, addressing stress in our lives
- Complementary and alternative therapies -
- an introduction to some therapies which are effective in balancing our lives and managing stress
